REVIEW: Act+Acre Restorative Hair Mask

Another day, another hair mask. This time, it’s the latest launch from Act+Acre: Restorative Hair Mask. You all know my hair is fine but I have a lot of it. Many masks are too rich and weigh my hair down, while others do nothing. This one is made of castor oil, glycerin, agarwood, Shea, Ylang Ylang, sunflower, cardamom, cetearyl alcohol and more.

This mask isn’t heavy, or thick and I honestly thought it wouldn’t do much for my hair but I was pleasantly surprised. A thin layer, applied to damp mid to ends left my hair pretty soft and manageable. And I love the soft scent.

I admit, I didn’t get along with their shampoo as it left my strands too dry ( I didn’t use it enough for the trial period for my hair to adjust) and the conditioner wasn’t rich enough to counter the dryness from the shampoo. So this mask is a pleasant surprise and may replace my conditioner as I tend to use masks for conditioners.

Have you tried this brand? Your thoughts?
