[REVIEW] Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow SerumSerum
When I first got this, I was truly excited to try and compare Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum with the brightening serum I was using at that time. Plus, I was told this serum is the best seller from Axis-y 6+1+1 line. I go through the ingredients list and found out it’s well-formulated with 5% niacinamide, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract, Rice Bran, Papaya, and Squalene. These are all functions to treat hyperpigmentation such as dark spots and uneven skin tone as well as keeping skin glow and healthy.
My first impression is this serum has a lightweight texture. Gel texture with a very mild of herbs scent from the Rosemary Oil (at the bottom of the INCI list). It comes in a pump tube which I find very easy to use. The packaging is bigger than I expected. I started having breakout mask during MCO and it left with scars. I started to introduce it on the 23rd of July. I use it consistently without fail. I honestly never get tired of this product because it absorbs nicely and didn’t sting my skin. It makes my skin feels good and glows up to a point I feel I need it every day.
The picture above is 2 weeks from the date I introduced in. I want to highlight this serum actually really works on the old dark scar I got from my previous cystic acne. My scar has lightened a lot and looks almost it’s gone, but still dented. It took a little time but it surely helps than never. Other than that, it makes my skin tone brighter and not looking dull. I’m experiencing such a good moment with it. The squalene makes the texture feels very soft on the skin and it lightly moisturized the skin.
I can’t express more but it’s truly a holy grail. I just made a perfect choice by grabbing this serum. Consistent is the key as it doesn’t show instant results for the first few days. But the end result is the only thing you want to brag the most. Besides, just to make sure to make SPF your best friend when you started to introduce this product into your routine.
