[REVIEW] Ayelet Naturals Denude Facial Cleansing Balm

The Ayelet Naturals Denude Facial Cleansing Balm is almost empty and I think that’s a good indication of how much I’ve been liking this. Ayelet recently reformulated the cleanser and if you’ve tried the older version, I think you’ll love this more. But for those of you that haven’t tried Denude yet, let me tell you what you’re in for. The balm has a very subtle scent that’s a delightful mix of Cacao, Vanilla and Geranium, I prefer scent in my cleansers so this was a hit right away.

The texture is soft and melty, just how I like my cleansing balms, not one bit waxy. You need a tiny bit of the balm, for it to melt into a medium weight oil that glides onto your skin as your massage it, taking every bit of dirt, sunscreen and makeup off. And did I tell you? It rinses off effortlessly with water, leaving behind skin that is clean and refreshed but not depleted.

My Experience:
I have been double cleansing for years, so I move onto using a second cleanser but if you’re lazy some day this is only cleanser you’ll need. If you’ve tried well formulated cleansers you’ll agree that these give back to the skin in the cleansing process, even though the focus is on the efficacy to cleanse and rinse off. This is loaded with antioxidant rich plant butters and oils. There is Camellia seed oil, cherry kernel oil, cacao butter, murumuru butter, cupuacu butter. You’ll also find willow bark extract for gentle exfoliation with its naturally occurring BHAs, and THD, a vitamin C derivative and elderberry fruit extract that together leave the skin smooth and brighter looking post cleansing.
