[REVIEW] By Wishtrend Pro-Biome Balance Cream

The By Wishtrend Pro-Biome Balance Cream is recommended for anyone who has sensitive, troubled skin. It contains 10% Propolis Extract, which is rich in antioxidant and also proven to have the anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. It is also well known to play a role as an agent to protect the skin against bacteria and soothes the problematic skin.

Star Ingredients: Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Propolis Extract, Glycerin, Sunflower Seed Oil, Saccharomyces/Honey Ferment Filtrate, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Asparagus Officinalis Extract

Texture:
This has a lightweight gel cream texture that spreads easily, leaving an absolutely non greasy finish. In fact, it doesn’t have a finish at all – leaving your skin like you applied nothing. Surprisingly, this smells kinda sweet (no added fragrance or essential oils).

My Opinion:
I liked this especially in the sweltering heat! This cream isn’t the “burst into water” kind of cream but it still packs a big hydration boost. It kinda remind me of the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Gel Cream. Thankfully, it also didn’t cause any clogged pores (which is always a relief for acne prone folks ya feel me)

Given the lightweight texture, it comes as no surprise that this isn’t able to hold in hydration for the whole day (let alone in the night). If you’re dehydration prone, this is definitely not the product for you.

Will I purchase?
Perhaps if on sale. As someone living in a hot and humid country with oily skin, I’m all for gel creams. This was a very good and no frills product that gave me just the right amount of hydration without being suffocating. At USD$28, it’s by no means the cheapest or the best value since you can get the products that provide the same effect for cheaper. But if on sale, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up another bottle.

Recommended for:
Oily to combination skin types that are not prone to dehydration. Best as a daytime cream imo. Dryer skin types may find that this “disappears” without doing anything at all (based on my sister’s feedback). If you’re sensitive to fermented ingredients, this is not for you either.
