REVIEW: Forest Rhapsody Skincare Good Earth

The Forest Rhapsody Skincare Good Earth is honey and clay based mask, primarily designed for acne and blemish prone skin contains a blend of 13 antioxidant rich super greens and superfoods like dill, mustard sprout, kale sprout, acai, kiwi along with nourishing CoQ10, brightening niacinamide, panthenol, Vitamin C and E.

The main star ingredient of the mask is ‘Thanaka’ bark powder, traditionally used by the Burmese. This tree bark looks like Sandalwood bark and has similar cooling, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The paste from the ground bark is used on the skin for multiple skin conditions and has cultural significance too.

I don’t really have any acne issues, so I just treated this mask like any other honey mask that is nourishing and brightening, until I read the usage tip on the website and used it as a spot treatment for my son’s acne. He is a teenager, with tons of blackheads and some acne. I won’t say that he has stubborn acne breakout but they do pop up occasionally. I was pleasantly surprised to see those acne and inflammation calm and die down. It was good because there was no drying or peeling like the usual Salicylic acid or Sulphur spot treatments. They healed beautifully.
