Hyeja Vegan Yuja Vitamin C + Niacinamide Brightening Serum has a typical syrupy texture. It spreads well, and absorbs very quickly. This leaves a very flattering glow which isn’t greasy or overly shiny. Smells like Yuja too (not too strong).
Ingredients: Citrus Junos Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water, Niacinamide, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Citrus Junos Peel Oil, Panax Ginseng Root Water, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sugarcane Extract, Tocopherol, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Ceramide NP, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Adenosine, Glycerin.
My opinion: Can we just take a sec to admire this beautiful packaging!! This glass dropper bottle is super high quality and it legitimately feels and looks luxurious.
This serum was a refreshing, lightweight burst of hydration. It gave my skin such a beautiful glow and plump, which I wasn’t expecting at all. After around 1 month of use, I also found that my skin complexion was slightly more even and a lil brighter (I may be trippin).
If you can’t handle EOs, this is not for you. This carries a light Yuja scent which can be sensitising to some (thankfully this didn’t irritate my skin). Also, don’t expect this to be very effective at fading hyperpigmentation. It was only good at generally evening skin tone but didn’t do much for PIH.
Will I purchase: Maybe? Idk, I have so many other serums to try. This doesn’t stand out as a “can’t live with out it” product, but it certainly is nice. At $35 fo 95ml, it may sound expensive but its actually works out be pretty cost effective.
Recommended for: Oily to normal skin types that are NOT sensitive to citrus essential oils. Great if you’re in a hot, humid climate and you’re dehydrated. If you’re very dry, this can be a tad too lightweight for ya. This is thankfully alcohol free.
