[REVIEW] Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm

The Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm is cleansing balm containing olive oil, grapeseed oil and sea buckthorn oil which is high in omega fatty acids, so is great for supporting your barrier function or may be a good option if your barrier is impaired. It also contains some other great oils and Vitamin E. Scent wise it’s got a slightly citrusy/mango like scent but with a hint of something herbal (maybe from the rosemary oil?) but I find the scent really refreshing and enjoyable!

Ingredient call outs from the cleansing balm:
1. Glycerin
2. Licorice root
3. Willow bark
4. Rice ferment Filtrate
5. Sodium Hyaluronate

My Opinion:
Well it definitely met & exceeded those expectations for me! It has an almost sorbet like texture which I enjoy, glides easily across the face with no tugging and emulsifies really nicely. Love the scent and just find it a pleasurable experience using it. It’s also removed my SPF and every scrap of makeup with ease when I’ve been wearing any! It also leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. The only thing I will say to watch out for if you try it (which I think I’ve seen a couple of other people mention too) is to use a dark washcloth/flannel because it does leave a bit of an orange hue on white ones, which has mostly come off in the wash but not completely on all of mine.

It’s not the cheapest at £37 for 90g, but worth it for me personally, for the experience. Would I purchase again? Definitely!
